10 min video with shots from our labs, from synchrotrons and outside locations, explaining the importance, methods and output of our research. It is an update of the 7min video from 2022 with added footage from field work and laboratories provided by our members, and was entirely re-cut and re-assembled for optimised matching of explanations with video material. It is currently available at our YouTube channel and you can download the original full-resolution mp4 file here for your own re-distribution (allowed freely WITHOUT editing!):

Advice to better direct researchers to the proper metallomics facilities and methods

The following table shows people within this Action whom you may contact for getting advice on access to metallomics facilities within our network or to which members of our network have close contact.

Person, with link to personal or COST website for contact details
Description of the facility or methods on which this person can give advice
Hendrik Küpper
- X-ray spectroscopy: In-house µXRF (2D), µXRF and µXAS tomography and bulk XAS at European synchrotron faclilities (DESY, Diamond, ESRF)
- Analysing the binding of metals to proteins and low MW ligands via HPLC (AEC, HIC, SEC) coupled online to ICP-MS
Gerald Falkenberg
Synchrotron X-ray spectroscopy imaging at DESY, P06: micro-XRF and micro-XANES mapping and tomography
beamline manager and project review panel secretary at P06 (scanning imaging beamline), can coordinate help on questions for access to bulk EXAFS beamlines P64/P64
Geraldine Sarret
Contact for X-ray spectroscopy and imaging,  incl sample preparation and sample environments: bulk XAS, µXRF-µXAS, at European synchrotron faclilities (Soleil and ESRF)
Matthias Wiggenhauser
Contact for metal isotope applications including tracer techniques for radioisotopes (e.g., 109Cd, 65Zn) and enriched stable isotopes (e.g., 111Cd, 67Zn) to trace metal sources in plants and soil-fertilizer-plant systems using multicollector ICP-MS.
